German here: Are the Buns called Pretzel as well in english? Because the Dough is called “Lauge(n)” (Wikipedia calls it Laugengebäck (as a general term)(Gebäck = pastries), also Wikipedia translates to Lyr Roll. But my other dictionary really translates that to pretzel bun, while all i wanted to say is that pretzel refers to the form rather than the dough. Enjoy your Pastry.
