Hello everyone. Looking to buy this green egg. Any idea what it would take to get this ready for cooking? It is supposedly in rough shape.

Look for cracks in the outer wall – top or bottom. Everything inside is replaceable, but expensive. The outside is replaceable too, but that’s a NO for me unless it’s super cheap – like $100. The firebox needs to be solid, but the fire ring can work while cracked. You’ll probably be able to salvage the nest with some work. Check out the cost of what needs to be replaced or fixed before you buy it.

Its barely used. Take out the fire ring and bottom grate. Check wear.
Guessing 50% new price for a real deal. They hold there value

It’s an older model but it checks out

Looks great, I’d upgrade the bands in the future to avoid the top falling out. It’s like a $120 upgrade.
