Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop (30g) of vanilla whey protein powder

  • 2 tablespoons of oat fiber (about 16g)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce 60ml

  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk 60ml

  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Stevia or any other non-caloric sweetener to taste

  • Optional toppings: berries, sliced almonds, or a dollop of Greek yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a small cake tin or ramekin.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, oat fiber, and baking powder. Mix well.

  3. Add the applesauce, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth batter forms.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool before adding any optional toppings.

taste:

pretty bad. I added 25g of sweetener and some extra vanilla extract. When it came out I tasted it as is and it was pretty tasteless. I made a frosting to put on top made of green yogurt, protein powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon and some strawberries. With the topping it was tasty and very filling
