I drove by the new Toastique location in The Grove at about 8am on its opening day Saturday and saw a line around the corner. https://x.com/flyingcape/status/1804506087665623394?s=46

Took a 45-minute cycling class across the street and when I came out it looked like the same people were still in line. I later read they gave out $50 gift cards to people who spent at least $10. Anyone go this weekend and want to report back?

I had never heard of Toastique until this post but initial impressions of a gourmet toast restaurant sounds a little ridiculous and bound to be overpriced as heck. I’ll keep an open mind though

Alas, I’m trying to save up for a house.

  3. > Toastique is a boutique gourmet toast and juice bar offering a fresh, chic, rustic experience that perfectly transitions from early on-the-go breakfast to corporate lunch to post sweat session fuel up.

They can fuck ALL the way off with that obnoxious copywriting.

This sounds like it was designed for boomers to mock millennials for not being able to afford housing…

The menu actually looks really yummy to me. The tumeric latte, toasts, and acai bowls look good.
