[Music] for [Music] if anyone loses they get to go to S oh that’s the if you’re the loser you have to take a nap uhhuh tickle him we’re getting ready for Memorial Day weekend I have some fun crafts that I’m going to do with the kids we’re going to show youall how to make straw holders well it can be for straws forks spoons really whatever you want to put in it flowers even we’re going to make a quick little mason jar dessert and then for supper we’re making meatball subs cuz we’re going to save that actual grilling out for Memorial [Music] Day I ordered the Ball mason jars but Walmart didn’t have any in stock so we just have the No Name it actually has some kind of name but I’m not sure what it is but there’s nothing on the jar that’s fine we have white chalk paint and oh I want Red Snow White you want Snow White mm first I’m going to draw some stars on this paper right here and we’re making some little little candle holders so you want the light from the candle to shine through I’m going to make the stars with this construction paper and you tape like if you tape your star on right here then you paint all around the star when you take the star part off there’ll be no paint there that way when you put your candle in you can see the light okay so we can make a flower holder or a candle or a candle holder or it can be to hold anything oo that’s is good I’m helping Manley with his star part and then he’s going to finish it yeah pink and [Music] white are we going to sit this inside when they dry up inside yeah are you done with yours yeah [Music] you washing your plate [Music] uhhuh no more peanut butter mhm very good look at that chicken going to eat it baby some soup yeah is it soup I thought she was probably mixing up a cake for it it’s actually Mak makes what kind of soup crunchberry soup look at that baby yeah this was that 50s retro towel I got it from the Blue Ridge Mountain Mall it’s so cute okay we’re going to make the pudding just like the package says so we need two cups of cold milk dump it all in [Music] there okay I’ll do the mixing okay oh that smells actually very good like P good then now if we sprinkle berries on top yeah that will make it flavor okay we’ll put this in the refrigerator while we slice up the strawberries strawberries and blueberries are ready now we’re going to slice this ankle food cake up into little [Music] pieces okay there must be quality control right mhm do you know what that means going to bed now you can use whipped cream instead of pudding two for these or you can go all out and do the cream cheese and pudding mixture and make it like a little cheesecake berry trifle how big my my arms are now mhm okay cake is ready we’re going to start with a few pieces of cake in the bottom of each jar probably three pieces Manny now we put a little spoon of pudding in there I’ll get some berries oh blueberry and blueberry and then we just repeat [Music] okay the paint’s dry on our jars now so we can decorate them I just have this black paint pen I’m going to use it to draw the outline of some little Bomb Pops I saw the idea for this on Pinterest it’s much cuter With The Ball mason jars cuz then you can use some sandpaper and kind of sand the paint off of that where you can see that it says ball and Mason and everything this will still be fine we could actually write that on there if we wanted to but we’ll just do some Bomb Pops so we’re just going to draw the shape with the paint pen and then I have some toothpicks that we’ll use to dip in to get a little bit of red and a little bit of blue [Music] oh [Music] [Music] I already have the oven preheated to 350 when we get the meatballs in the oven I’m going to go out and cut the watermelon so we’ve got 2 lbs of ground beef I already put a salt now we’re going to put some pepper I’m going to put a few of these minced onions in here we’re adding some Italian seasoning now we’ll put in some bread crumbs I’ll have all the measurements down below for y’all and I have some very finely chopped peppers and these aren’t hot we’re adding a little bit of shredded montere Jack and some shredded parmesan few red pepper flakes and the last thing we need is two eggs is that why llama we super relaxing mama I guess sometimes I use Italian sausage and ground beef but I just had ground beef this time so that’s what we’re doing now we’ll make the meatballs get them in the oven they’ll just take about 20 20 to 25 minutes n [Music] the meatballs are almost done so I’m just going to pour the sauce in here where we’re just using Jarred sauce this time we’ll go ahead and turn that on low and when the meatballs get done we’ll just add those in here and then we have these sweet Hawaiian sub rolls that we’re going to use so we’ll put some of the meatballs and sauce on there and then we have montere Jack or pepper jack cheese that we’ll put on top and then just put them in the oven long enough to toast the bun and melt the cheese or toast the roll and melt the cheese [Music] oh [Music] see youall tomorrow

  4. I like the way you made the trifle. Good idea for those like me that don't have a trifle bowl. The mason jars are cute. The watermelon reminded me of when I was growing up and we would go to Grandma and Grandpa's or a park and have family get togethers on Memorial day and labor day and Grandma always had watermelon at her house in the summer. Have a nice and safe Memorial Day weekend.

It’s Decoration Day here in the smokies, as we remmbwr those who fought for our Country and came before us. I just love seeing the cemeteries all colorful with fresh flowers, flags, etc. many go over lake fontana and back into old cemeteries to clean up, decorate, eat dinner on the ground and listen to music. 🥰

  8. Hey Fallon an family I'm a silent follower I been watching since your princess was a baby Manny is so stinking cute 🥰🥰🥰

  9. Those jars are such a cute idea. I wish my kiddos were young enough to want to do those kinds of things still. My 12 year old son MIGHT would do it, but that's iffy.

  10. What a great craft to do! I'll bet that was a lot of fun 🙂 Love bomb pops. Always have & probably always will. Was that angel food cake you got (I think?) from Walmart overly sweet? I got one from a local store to make the angel fluff & it was sooooo sweet (almost artificially sweet) it ruined it for me that time. I remember when angel food cakes were light & fluffy & barely sweet. I hope to find one like that & try the angel fluff again because then (for me) it would be reallllllllly good. If Walmart's isn't horribly sweet, then I'll pick one up next week. Have a great day & see you next time xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox <3<3<3<3

  16. Did you know that if you add a bit of milk and use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs they are moister? I do that in meatloaf also. And I mix the meat in the morning and let it sit in the refrigerator (covered) and the flavors blend together good.
