Then scoop heaping tablespoons of mixture and put on your prepared pans, leaving them around 1” to 2” apart.

When ready remove from oven and let come to total room temperature before eating, mixture will be hot and can burn your mouth.
(OPTIONAL)
Melt some unsweetened chocolate or chocolate chips to dip the bottom of the coconut macaroons on. Flip over so chocolate cools.

Bonita’s Tips:
Using unsweetened shredded coconut cuts down on the amount of sugar in this recipe.
Having a pinch of sea salt gives it a nice blend of sweet and salty.
Using unsweetened chocolate also removes the amount of sugar added to this recipe. (optional)

hi and welcome to B’s kitchen and thank you for joining us I’m excited to share with you today this simple cooking recipe for coconut macaroons these are so tasty and of course only a few simple ingredients and just a short W to bake them but if these interest you stick around and let’s get [Music] started k [Music] so what we’ll do we’ll pour everything into my kitchen aler now 4 and 1/2 cups of unsweetened shredded coconut and it’s going to be 2/3 of allpurpose flour or flour of choice toss it in there and A4 of a teaspoon full of sea salt or table salt so now I’m just going to whisk this around just to blend it together and then I’ll show you what’s next all right so that’s good um now what we’re going to be pouring in there is one can of sweet and condensed milk and that’s 300 Ms so I’m just going to pour this on in my mixer and now after we’re going to be putting in one teaspoon full of of vanilla and 1 teaspoon full of almond uh extract and we’ll mix that together so just mix it just for a couple of uh minutes there just incorporate all of those ingredients now you can also do this with your wooden spoon or your spatula just uh fold it all together but I just got my little helper here sometimes I would say well probably I’ll use Raymond as My Little Helper but I’m very busy on this side he’s busy and not only busy he’ll be picking at it and we probably won’t have none to show so that’s all we need to do there so now let me tell you what to do next so pretty much that’s all you need to do with that I’m just making sure all of the ingredients now is together just by folding it with my spatula so all all you need to do get yourself a scoop or just a spoon and get about a tablespoon full of this mixture and just put out onto um a cookie sheet with some parchment paper and have it about an inch to 2 in apart um so probably three across would be more than enough and do this until and make them almost the same I might have one there a little bit bigger that’s the one I’ll have you’ll have that one and that way uh they’ll all get the same baking time of course so let me just finish this and I’ll tell you how long to bake it for tell you this is a great one if you got the grandkids around or just kids or Just family time family time you know and you’re just looking for that little little simple treat day Raymond and you want to to have something time to Y spend with your family for sure yep perfect so now what we need to do is preheat our oven to 350° F and then we’re going to when it’s ready put this in the center rack in the middle for anywhere from 12 to 15 minutes or till a nice golden brown you decide what works for you I’m going to put mine in the oven now and I’ll show you what they look like when they come out our coconut macaroons are baked now let’s take them to my counter and show you what they look like oh my gosh these coconut macaroons smells amazing now I got some dark chocolate air melted and I just melted it for 30 seconds or so in the microwave I’m going to show you that we’re going to dip these into that we’re getting ready for some it te air today with this decorative cookie so good come in closer so as you can see this is a nice dark chocolate it’s unsweetened and these cookies oh my gosh just look they’re golden brown we’re going to dip just the bottom just like this a little tip them over like that to get them to Arden first before you um well of course we all know before you put them down and before you start eating yes just just a light little dipping now you don’t need to do this the sweetness of the coconut macaroons where we put the con sweet and condensed milk and the bitterness of the dark chocolate oh my gosh you’re just going to love these I’m going to continue dipping them and then I’m going to have one and I’m going to have two can you see yourself today making these and inviting some friends over or family members like your kids having a party I know I I’m not going to eat all of these today I know Raymond will put a good crack at them and try to eat all of them don’t tell them too many Secrets but I’m going to share the recipe with you simple ingredients most of it we got in our home so again that’s going to be shared down under this video and I’m going to pour myself a cup of tea and add a little taste of this today oh my gosh one of many I’m sure I got to show you my uh uh little pad that my sister knit me she’s actually making quilts and so much more with these little squares but she gave me one to put under my teapot so thank you Pauline for that she’s not only been a guest here on B’s kitchen previously um perfect Chef she know go out to crochet in it God love her I’m going to have a little taste oh my good delicious drop the the coconut macaroni delicious I was waiting for you to figure out which one I was going to do the chocolate one but he not sat yet and I don’t want it all over my face oh my good if you like coconut 1. Hi, my New Fundland friends. I've been waiting all week for your posting. It couldn't have been a better cookie recipe as far as I am concerned. I love coconut. And so easy to make Thank you. Hope things are well at your home and I look forward to next week's video.

  2. I do enjoy your easy to make recipes, using basic pantry ingredients we either already have or can easily get at the local grocery store. I'll of course be sharing this right away with all my Facebook friends and relatives.

  3. Oh my, another one of BB's great recipes ("B"onita's "B"est). Have all the ingredients here, so guess what I will be making!!!! ❤

  4. Now how would eggs change this and can you use toasted coconut instead of plain coconut? I think I would omit that music to keep viewers hanging in until the end..

  5. Hello Bonita and Raymond! Happy Sunday to you. These macaroons look delicious and so nice with the chocolate bottoms. I’m used to making them with egg whites in place of the sweetened condensed milk. At Christmas time I would top them with a red or green cherry. 🍒 Very nice. Many thanks….

  6. Only if I could have chocolate, but I can't. Those macaroons still look good. Cheers, Bonita and Raymond! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦

  7. Just the recipe I need. I have a lot of coconut to use in my pantry. The recipe I had used too many egg whites. I used another recipe last week that was very nice. Everyone loved them, and they stayed moist.❤
