7a, it’s been in the ground since mid-April. And yes, I am using a cinder block as a support! One of my other plants has the bottom half of a chair as a support 😂

    Looks healthy, of course they will. Every day in the garden is a reminder for me that it takes time and patience to see that bounty. Remember, it’s just barely July, vegetable gardens will gain momentum and get ripping as we get closer to autumn.

    We are also in 7A and have 5 plants loaded with green tomatoes. Finally, in the last 24 hours, two of our Whoppers have started to turn red.

    I typically plant my Early Girl the first week of May and they will start ripening about July 4-10 depending on the weather. I am in Zone 7b.(NJ)
