Roommate made me homemade French onion as a parting gift

Headed back to my home state for personal reasons in a couple days, my roommate who has a culinary degree asked if I wanted a homemade meal before I go, I obviously asked for the best soup in the world. He delivered. Not the best picture, I ate a few bites before I thought to take a picture lol. Seriously it's amazing!!! I'm so grateful to have people who love me.
