    Not very Japanese, but looks delicious.

    As long as the yolk is runny a fried egg is a great addition to just about any meal, not gonna lie though, if it’s ramen I’d prefer an ajitama.

    Amazing! Shoyu butter fried eggs if I’m feeling really freaky (;
    It’s nice switching it up from the usual soft boiled or scrambled eggs.

    A texture/flavor thing. Personally I’ve only ever had ajitama and I wouldn’t want to lose the flavor of the marinade or the texture that the fried egg doesn’t have.

    Having said that, I would slurp up this entire thing and most likely still enjoy it

    TBH adding a crispy fried egg on top of a cup noodles, the styrofoam cup kind, sealing in the lava hot broth and noodles that splash out hot droplets like bullets, and being deceived of the real temperature by the just barely warm outside of the cup, is delicious. I know it doesn’t sound like it, but it’s a whole experience that brings back memories of indescribable joy

    I think seared egg whites, being savory, go well with ramen

    I do that sometimes, I love the yolk mixed with the noodles but it’s a pain to cut up the egg itself
