Does anyone know if this calorie count is even somewhat accurate?
How is a footlong churro even close to 200 calories, let alone under it? I know depending on weight it can be off, but this far off?

It probably is as it is just a long, thin wheat and corn-based churro that is baked and coated with cinnamon sugar.

The serving size is 55g so it seems accurate but you could always weigh it to be sure.

National chains usually get their calories pretty correct. It’s probably just a lot thinner than most churros. Churros are also pretty airy so there might not be as much batter as you think
Edit: that being said. There is a chance that the l listed calories don’t include the icing. There might be a separate calorie count for that

I’m curious as to its preparation. Subways don’t have deep fryers, right?

Given the description says “shareable” is it possibly the calories per serving? Not for the whole maybe.

Got one of these the other day and was sorely disappointed. It was thin and hard/chewy in a not very pleasant way, and had hardly any cinnamon sugar or flavour. I ended up rolling it in my own cinnamon nonsugar sweetener mixture to get it to actually taste like something and even then I didn’t finish it. My kids thought it was okay though, so maybe worth a try?

More importantly, where can I buy this??? Is this only at Cinnabon stores?

It’s not worth it. I’m a churro snob, though. The tio Pepe brand (they have them at smart and final) are definitely worth it. They’re the same ones used from Disneyland. Pretty sure the nutrition is similar as these.

Remember, the icing isn’t going to be included in that count.
