Hey everyone!
I bought this rice from Sam’s Club and I'm having a hard time with it. No matter how I cook it, it remains hard and chewy.
It is definitely NOT long grain as the name suggests. The quality is not good, but I don’t want to throw it away.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do with this rice? Any recipes or cooking tips that might make it better? Thanks in advance!

I’ve bought this same rice, it is long grain, and it’s not that damn difficult
Egg fried rice. Cook it in the morning with a ratio of 2:3 rice to water in a rice cooker or 1:1 on the stove. Let it sit at RT all day. Make egg fried rice for dinner. Long grain, chewy rice is perfect for this.
Dry a wet phone.
Rice pudding
Rice kabobs
Chicken fried rice
Make an Asian style rice porridge/soup – like Chinese [congee ](https://pickledplum.com/basic-congee-recipe/)or Filipino [lugaw](https://panlasangpinoy.com/lugaw-recipe/). If the rice is still hard after the recommended cooking time, just keep cooking until it’s soft. Since the basic recipes use a few simple ingredients, you won’t feel bad if it doesn’t turn out ok.
Long grain I would do fried rice, Spanish rice, maybe rice pudding.
Cilantro lime rice made in the pressure/rice cooker. If possible, use fresh ingredients for the best outcome 😊
Half water half orange juice. Don’t use the flash rice on a rice cooker.
Enriched products have synthetic vitamins in them. They are no good. Throw it out. It’s not wasteful because nobody needs it.

Anything where you put a lot of flavor into the rice. Biryani, rice pilaf, arroz con pollo, etc.
It’s rice. Make it how you like? To hard? Add a bit more water and cook a few minutes longer or steam it like others recommended.
Congee
Cook it and feed it to wildlife for entertainment.
Boil 1 1/4 cup of water, place rice in water. Stir several times in first minute. Reduce heat to med-low. Cover as boiling action subsides. Leave covered for 16 minutes. Eat it.
Get a vacuum sealer and start your emergency food prep journey. Get yourself 25 lbs of dry beans and you’ll have about enough for two people for a month.
Fried Rice?
Add water and a pinch of salt to make rice. Repeat daily until no more rice.
