I had some random hot peppers seeds given to me. The person that gave me the seeds to this plant can’t remember the name of it. Any idea what it is? Thanks

Depending on the final color, they could be a chiltepin (red/blackish)… more likely an aji charapita (yellow orange) or another variety like wild brazil (solid orange). Those varieties originate from the Amazon region, and are some of my favorites.

Those could be a Hot Pops variety, the two most common are purple and yellow. If so they are full of seeds and are a good ornamental variety for trading or crosses, depending on what you’re going for.

They look somewhat similar in shape and color to the Wiri Wiris in my garden.

DAE think they look kinda like eggplants in the early stages of growth?
