Hi, UK grower here. I've not harvested any chillies of any sort so far this year, the weather has been diabolical, but things are on the up and starting to look good (although battling aphids constantly.) I have Trinidad scorpion, Ghost, and Carolina reaper (or so I hope…), the reaper doesn't have any pointy tails, so I'm not sure if it actually is.

Nice! A few tips that work for me.
Aphids—use Castile soap like dr bronners once a week. Spray every surface of the leaves. If you want you can add a foliar feeding to it as well. If you go with a heavy concrete reaction of soap it is a good idea to rinse with clean water after 10 minutes or so as a film can be left on the leaves and suffocate them. Be sure to do the treatment when there will be no direct light on the wet plants! I messed this step up bad when my plants were still inside this year and my more fragile strains dropped leaves or got stunted bad. This will work and is better than harsher pesticides because it won’t harm predators and really you want them to find some food when they come by so they will stick around.
Other than that? You will pick your first too early. Hold off as long as you can. It’s like the marshmallow test.
