I normally use them exclusively for deli sandwiches or in this case, when I'm too lazy to chop!

They are unique in their texture and a wonderful addition to most any dish. On a dog tho? The way I feel about it seems to present itself like this: if they’re warm and floppy, then no but if they’re refrigerated..*almost* frozen…? Then yes please. Otherwise I want chunks any temp.

Fuck me dude. I always dice by instinct for dogs but I need to try this

    Oh hell yeah

I make batches of them with oil, salt, garlic and crushed red pepper. Lasts me a few days and it goes great on lots of things

I love them so much, I like to use a ton of them at a time. They soak up sauces and vinegar nicely

Absolutely, as long as they’re cold.
Wouldn’t mind a little pickle moment either, but usually I’ll soak raw onion in cold water and pat dry to ease the bite of flavour.

I can see the fine shavings making for great texture, and I’ll probably try this one day!

    Are they not onions?

    Are we not men?

(Probably not all of us, statistically)

Try grating them and let them drain, It’s another level.

I really like them. Used to mix shaved onions with shaved potatoes for breakfast. Bit of sausage and some eggs, bit of gravy and that is whats up.
