Have been looking for a used one for a while. Not terribly knowledgeable about buying a used one. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.

  1. I’ve had a Weber Genesis for over 10 years, love it. Haven’t had a single issue. No idea about a used one, would depend on if they took care of it.

I’m not even a Weber guy and I would grab that in a second. You can get parts to bring it up to speed.

    Go for it.

Looks like it was taken care of so I’d say yes. My grandparents had one for a long time. It was in horrible shape but man, it was one of the best grills I ever used.

It’s in really good shape overall and the grates look really good. They are pretty easy to clean out and it’s all but ready to go otherwise.

Check the ignitor though. It’s a 37 dollar part you can use it without but it’s better to have

Just make sure all of the parts inside the grill (fuel rails, deflectors, etc.) are in good shape. If so, great deal.

  6. I saw the Pic with the cover on first and said yes

You will pay at least 600 for a new one. And that one don’t look like it’s been used much! So hell yea!

It’s not a steal, but it is a pretty solid deal. Go for it.

It looks really clean. Cleaner than mine. Worst case, you gotta buy a new burner tube or whatever, I’d say go for it. What’s that grill go for new, like a grand?

While you’re here asking strangers online if it is worth it, someone else is buying it

A new one of that model will cost me $1149 at the nearest Home Depot right now. I have one with same features but is >15 yrs old that I replace factory parts as required and is still 100% useful and pleasant to use.

Good Lord dude what an awesome steal….
    For sure worth the price

    Absolutely 💯, Definitely worth it

I have the same grill, bought it new. Solid grill, built to last. This one you found looks about as good as mine did when I built it out of the box. Helps to know the seller kept it covered too. Go for it!

I luckily picked up a natural gas version of this in great condition for 175 luckily the guy before me tried to lowball him so I was the next in line.

Definitely. Maintain it and it will last for years. Snap that up.

Not worth it.. you should share the ad so I can tell the seller

I’ve had one for 5 years, that replaced one that lasted for 22 years, which still lives on at a family member’s house.

    They last.

Seller gets bonus points for knowing how to orient the grates. Take notes OP!

I bought the same one used for 300. I’d do it again. Great heat.
