I saw a video on YouTube where a guy ran his at high heat over night into the next day. Bottom vent open, top vent cracked all the way after the first hour of it being open fully. The end result should be a clean ceramic. Wish me luck here, first time using lump

    Are you actually only at 200F or did you get it so hot that the thermometer lapped the 0 and passed GO? Because I used to have that happen a lot on my Egg.

    This should take a couple hours, really. By the time you actually get it up to temperature needed, it takes minutes. I wouldn’t be doing this type of thing overnight, unattended.
