I like that one and the chicken and dumplings one!

I have way too many cans of all the different kinds. I fw them heavy

Yummm! I have not seen that flavor in my grocery stores though!
wii-sensor-bar
I eat those sometimes! I like to just eat one can and add my own chicken in
Animajax
Yes, love them. I also buy the protein ones (not crazy about chickpeas but the Mediterranean protein soup is my favorite).
HelpImInThisHole
I love canned soups, but they typically have crazy high sodium content!

Love em. My wife thinks it’s super gross I drink them cold from the can
FallenLixdy
Oh yeah. Sometimes I even do the fat free to go lower

I have a stockpile of the [high protein](https://www.progresso.com/products/protein) Progresso in my pantry from when they were really cheap at Walmart. I have one every other week or so. The protein to calories can’t be beat! Southwest-style black bean is my favorite.
Mushiikata
My favorite right now is the Santa Fe chicken. It’s 160 calories for the can and I add some cheese to it, totally keeps me full.
MrsBoopyPutthole
My lunch every single day is a progresso high protein black bean soup.
210 cals per can, hella protein. I buy as many as I can from target every week so I stay stocked up. I’m definitely the soup lady to those employees by now 🤣

Creamy chicken wild rice is my favorite so far, but we use them a ton at our house as a base. Sometimes we’ll add a little powdered gravy mix and more veggies to the chicken and dumplings or beef pot roast soups to make them a little thicker and creamier and they are delish. We also love to use them as a base to a pasta using the Barilla protein pasta to mix in and it’s great!

Just had the Italian wedding one the other day. Somewhere around 160 calories for the entire can. Didn’t taste any different to me than the original version, though I haven’t had the original in like 5+ years.

Soups are great! If you add frozen veg, some water and bullion, and half a cup of cooked rice if you want to then you can have a double serving for much cheaper from one can.
imsolucky000
I like them solely for getting to my goal. But for the long run i worry about the ingredients

How long do the 2 cans keep you full?
Euphoric-24
I wanna get into these but the sodium content in these soups are off putting
mypaycheckisshort
My Walmart sells them for $2.18. We each eat 2 a week. I go for the ones without meat!
DependentKick5015
I love these
Seahawks3B
Hell yes one of my go to’s. The regular light chicken noodle is only 130 calories!
Yazy117
They are great for storing some meals incase you have a short term emergency like a blizzard or something. It’s always smart to have like 2-4 weeks of shelf stable food in case you can’t make it to the grocery store for a while
Hearsya
I pour them over rice!
AggravatingScratch59
I love these but the sodium content, especially for 2 cans… oof.
Godzirrraaa
Only the suckers pay $3 each. Real soupheads know to stock up when they are 99 cents each when you buy 8 or more. Only happens once or twice a year, so I usually stock tf up, I love Progresso.
thetexangypsy
My favorite is the chicken pot pie
LetsGoCoconuts
I especially love the Italian wedding soup! I also like adding frozen peas to all the different soup types to bulk it up a bit and add a nice texture difference to the mushy veggies (I do love the soft almost melt in your mouth veggies tho lol).

my fav soup of all time is progresso chicken tortilla. the hack is u put it in a pot on the stove, and add two wedges of laughing cow garlic herb cheese, plus whatever seasonings u like bc progresso soups tend to be bland (i use kinder’s woodfired garlic it is so freaking good), and make sure u use a spoon to break up the cheese as the soup heats up. it is SOOOOO GOOD & 240 calories total… i’ve eaten this for lunch maybe 3x/week since the start of this year (i get persistent food hyperfixations lol!)
the progresso hearty chicken pot pie with dumplings is a close second & also 240 calories (but no added cheese necessary). the manhattan clam chowder is also very good & 220 🙂

the southwest black bean one is AMAZING and has 20g of protein. tastes like it should be 5x the cals honestly
jhaluska
I eat them in winter when they usually go on sale.
Due to the sodium, I recommend only have one a day and planning your other meals to be low sodium.
