INGREDIENTS
Ground beef – 2 lb.
Onion – 1 pc.
Kapia pepper – 3 pcs.
Parsley – 2 oz
Cloves of garlic – 3 pcs.
Salt – 1 tsp.
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1/3 tsp.
Paprika – 1 tbsp.
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
Breadcrumbs – 4 oz.

Onion – 2 pcs.
Cloves of garlic – 3 pcs.
Olive oil – 4 tbsp.
Tomato puree – 3 cups
Salt – 1/2 tsp.
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
Oregano – 1 tsp.
Chili – 1/4 tsp.
Sugar – 1 tbsp.

Swartpeper – 1/2 teelepel. Oregano – 1 teelepel. Chili – 1/4 teelepel. Suiker – 1 eetlepel. 7 min. Olie – 4 eetlepels. 40 sek. per kant op hoë hitte. Olie. Oond / 20 min. – 360F of 180C.

  2. I made this and it was delicious. I cooked the meatballs in the air fryer then put them into the sauce and cooked for an hour in a tagine. Great recipe thank you. I left out the soya sauce.

  3. Naw..I would of done KEBABS..over the grill..baste with the tomato sause..wait..this looks like the recipe for LAMB KABABS..Only no mint and sause!!

  4. Method (Ingredients in description)

    Meatballs (kefte, kofte, kafta)
    Grate or finely dice onion, chili peppers, parsley, garlic

    Combine with beef, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, soy
    Add breadcrumbs, combine

    Form meatballs in an olive shape, reserve

    Sauce
    Grate or finely dice onion, garlic

    Fry onion 4 minutes, add garlic, fry 1 minute

    Add passata, salt, pepper, oregano, chili powder, sugar, simmer 7 min

    Preheat oven to 180C

    Fry meatballs over high heat for a little colour, 40 secs/side (x4)

    Arrange sauce and then meatballs in oven proof dish

    Brush kofte with oil/fat from kofte pan

    Transfer to over, bake 20 min.

    Serve on basmati rice with sauce.

  5. I don't usually make recipes from videos, but this was an exception. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. It's definitely a keeper. Unexpectedly, it reminds me of a good cabbage roll…without the cabbage. Thank you!
