Middle Germany.. it’s my third year trying to grow this peppers “paradeisfrüchtige” a small and early ripening variant. This year complete fresh terra preta soil with compost, coal and horse manure. Soil feels wonderful, fennel and Kohlrabi is growing fine. But again my peppers look constantly like they would die any moment…

Looks like overwatering, pests, and too much sun. Maybe try growing in a pot first where you can control the growing conditions better. Just my observation off a single picture
