This is great for a first attempt! A little more fruit it’d be perfect!!!

I personally like it when things are slightly more bunched – so putting groups of 3/4 olives together might make it look more purposeful!

I think this looks great and I would be happy with this in front of me! If I were to give some suggestions I would add some more color on the plate like fruit or even some interesting cheeses like a cheese with fruit on/in it. I like to have my board pretty full and with flow so maybe look into some different ways to plate the cheeses and fun ways to fold the meats. I also like to have a focal point something in the middle that really pulls everything together like a fun meat rose or brie and I’d use a cookie cutter with a fun shape to make a hole to put jam in. Can’t wait to see what your second attempt looks like!

More colors, more fruit.

Some more fruits, nuts, pickles and veggies. Just a little bit of everything. Different cheeses and meats.

Something free to add is visual variety by forming some of the meat you have into roses. If you just google “how to make salami roses” you’ll find a bunch of simple how-tos on how to make them. 😀
