First attempt at some burnt ends, and they turned out amazing.

Method:
Cut the chuck roast into smaller sections, smoked until 165

Rested them for about 45 minutes before cutting them into cubes

Add beef broth and apple cider vinegar to the pan and cover with foil back on the smoke for 2 hours (until 203+ degrees)

Remove the liquid and foil, add sauce of choice, smoke for another hour

Wrap in foil and towel, put in cooler to rest until dinner

Eat.
