I have been using that for about a month or so now. Very versatile, great ventilation options, and I can easily control the Temps from raising and lowering the charcoal tray. Love this thing. Cheers!!!! Oh, I have a giant weber kettle also, but this is great for quicker grills

Let us know how it compares the to Weber Kettle. Can’t wait to see what you whip up.

I have one that’s pretty much the same. Great to control the temp with the vents be rasing and lowering the tray

Have had mine for about 2 years now. Had gone back and forth on this and a kettle then grabbed this on sale for around $100.
I have no regrets, the versatility of this grill is awesome. Very easy to control the temps with the vents and front door. Being able to lift and lower the charcoal bed is a game changer.
Would suggest getting a cover – it’ll last longer !

I just got a Char-griller similar to that one and I’ve done a few cookouts and they’ve turned out great. Haven’t done a smoke yet. Got a pork butt in the fridge that I’m going to test it on this weekend. Pretty excited.

I’ve bought 2 of these in the past 8ish years and absolutely love this baby!

A few years ago I bought one of these after a long stint of only having a gas grill. I did some great cooks on it and have bought a couple more charcoal grills since then… finally settling on a SNS kettle. This inexpensive little Walmart grill was basically a gateway drug!

Great gift!
You’ll like it better for smoking, only because you can get more on there, not because it’s superior.
Enjoy
And let me know how you like it. I’ve been on the fence about that one and a 22” Weber. I have a Traeger for smoking and a Weber GS4 gas and both are outstanding for what they do. I need a charcoal grill though 😉😎
