Apparently Biscuits have become too expensive. One of my favorites: Homestyle Turkey & Biscuit Potpie appears to now have 65% less biscuits. The biscuit can they sent is much, much smaller than what I have previously received. The updated meal picture emphasizes this. (Top pic is the "new improved" recipe, the bottom pic is the previous version). Big sigh.. so sad. Did it really save HF that much money to downsize?

According to the amounts, they are shipping the same weight of biscuits. So, if you got a 6oz can with the new one, you likely got the same can as you did the first time. I would say that their photography team either messed up or the picture for the first one was of the 4 serving size not the 2 serving size. But it would also seem that the new one is no longer sponsored, and likely subsidized monetarily by Pillsbury. Note the product placement on the bottom but not the top recipe.
I just noticed that both recipe cards say 6 oz – regarding the size of can of biscuits, but I’m telling you the last cans I received were actually about double the size of the current can, and obviously there’s a difference in the picture.
Kind of interesting that both recipes still list the same size of biscuits in ounces. I wonder if the new one truly weighs that much
We just got that meal this week and it was the same as always. We love this one.

In the original version, I remember they had you cut the biscuits in half so they weren’t as thick. Looks like that’s not called for in the update?
If I recall, I think they have you split the biscuits to cover the pan. Looks like the top one may have them whole instead?

lol, it’s literally exactly the same “mini” roll of biscuits (I had it last night and have made it several times in the past). They just did the presentation differently
