The fruit set on this plant is particularly slow this year. We had an extreme heat wave here in California that contributed to about 2 straight weeks of flower drop after the first round of fruit set. Now that the heat wave is over, I've got a lot more showing up, with hundreds of unopened flowers still waiting their turn. It's going to be a good season for this one!

Look at that trunk! 💪Do you have to overwinter it in California indoors or what’s your process? I have six new plants and not sure what to do once winter comes here in Socal. Thnx!

Have you found that overwintering increases your yield? I am growing my first set of peppers and I’m considering it but I’ve read conflicting information about whether the plants will produce more fruit.

Sugar rush stripey are very tasty! Good choice my friend. I wish this plant were more resistant to sicknesses

Do yours actually turn peach color? I have a couple producing and have left peppers on because they are so pale.

I really need to start over wintering my peppers.

I have a plant I want to keep going after this season, how do I do that? Just keep watering and using fertilizer and it’ll just keep growing indefinitely ? I’m in northern California
