Just an update of how my plants are doing. My first year growing tomatoes. Did a lot wrong I’ll do better on in the future! This thread has been AMAZING!!! Such a great community! I planted 32 plants originally of 28 varieties. Lost one plant early to blight. Then I propagated some in case I lost more but I didn’t. That’s how I ended up with some in buckets at the end. I definitely planted them too close together, fencing with too small of holes to reach through making it hard to harvest the middle. I have a wire cutters that I widen the holes with when necessary. Overall I am happy with my first year’s results and look forward to next year already!

My raised beds updates.

The pinwheels are a nice touch. The garden looks great. 👍🏻

Is it a gardening trick to plant flowers at the base of tomato plants? And what flowers are those?

Beautiful! How tall are those arches? Can you walk thru them. I really wanted you to walk under there. I’ve wanted to do arches in my garden and was thinking that might happen next year.

Do you recommend the containers? Do you think they’ll last a while? If you recommend, where do you pick them up?

I just had my strawberries, and some potted plants, raised by racoons. They took every berry that had a touch of red on it over the past 2 nights. So pissed because the tomatoes will be next.
