I have an abundance of basil and rosemary from my garden – I've been drying it for later. Is it keto friendly? I hope so 🙏

Yep! Most herbs are negligible carbs because you don’t add very much per recipe. Basil is 0 net carbs per 2 Tbsp (fresh) because it’s all fiber. I treat it like lettuce and eat as much as I’d want.
Like other plants, generally no, it’s not keto friendly. But unlike other plants, you aren’t covering your plate in them like tomatoes or broccoli or whatever. In the amounts that we typically use basil, it’s quite fine.
So load up, just don’t eat an entire basil plant for dinner!

Fresh pesto is like crack. Not sure about the macros of pine nuts, but the oil and parm are low carb.
