    Please post your recipes!

We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!

I am meal prepping for my grandma! She is recovering from a successful knee surgery. Woooo

Here’s the recipe I used for the first batch of chicken thighs (seen in photo 4) and sweet potato :
    https://recipesfromapantry.com/sheet-pan-baked-chicken-thighs-and-sweet-potato/

For the meal in photo 3, I marinated the chicken for 30min (didn’t have much time) in general Tso sauce and baked it at 425 for 35-40min with some broccoli and carrots. I mixed the marinade with the veggies

I make the mashed potatoes by boiling red potatoes and mashing them and adding heavy cream and half and half. Tbh whatever milk or butter works. I add garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and top w green onion. Can not give specific measurements I just go with my heart ❤️

All the other veggies (green beans, peas, corn, cauliflower rice) I steamed from frozen and mixed with a bit of butter, pepper, salt. The meatballs were also from frozen and I just mixed a jar of Rao’s and seasonings

Hey, OP I’m a grandma (she’s six, but that still counts!) and I have a summer *cough* *cough* head cold. Although I might be a bit of a distance from you. 🤷🏽‍♀️

That looks amazing!! Great job and a super thoughtful granddaughter!!

What are the containers you guys use for these? I know next to nothing about meal prep but I’d like to learn! Are these containers reusable, or are they cheap enough that it doesn’t matter that they’re disposable?

That’s so sweet of you! Grandma is going to be so proud to tell her friends about this.

When you guys do these, do you freeze some of them? How long do they keep in the fridge?

  19. Appropriate-Gift7179

For how many days y’all prep? Isn’t 3 days the maximum for food before it gets bad?

  20. TinCanSailor987

I hope it’s me! That looks delicious.

Might be a silly question, but do you freeze these and defrost and reheat as needed? As surely theyd all go bad before you get to eating them?
