It looks like butter was used as the oil. What all do you season it with?
I’ve never had baked onions except as part of a pot roast. The beef flavor is nice but I’m always up for trying new things.

Drizzle olive oil on a head of garlic and an onion and roast that combo in the oven. Cut up the onions and use some of the excess olive oil to mash up the garlic cloves. Spread that on some crusty bread and I’m in heaven. Also makes a fantastic pizza sauce as an alternative to marinara. I prefer a margarita style with basil and fresh whole milk low moisture mozzarella. I’m making myself hungry

I just got an amazing idea. If I did the same thing but put them on a charcoal pit. I must try this
