Hi, y’all! I am so excited to introduce you to Spicy McPlantface, my mystery pepper plant. I received it from my coworker who had a variety of hot pepper plants and did not know which type of plant they gave me. Spicy has sprouted not one but two peppers. Just want to know what I am working with and when I should pick them. Thanks, y’all!

It’s a bell pepper. You can pick them at any stage. Personally , I like the green ones for cooking, and red for snacking

Unfortunately Mr Spicy is probably not going to be too spicy, I agree it’s a bell (looks just like the ones I’m growing this year)

I have a plant producing peppers that look like this and I was told they could be Cuban peppers. My bell pepper plant looks more “picture perfect” compared to this plant. They look similar – even I was looking for identification a while ago.
