Hi!
I recently gone to a korean restaurant and they served me those banchans, the ones I’d like to know their ingredients are the onion one and the salad, those were with a korean “sauces” with I think was soy sauce and sesame oil, but I don’t know what else. The sauces were a bit sweet too.
I really liked them and I’d love to make my own if possible to dip things like meats or fishes.
Thanks!

where is this? I’m getting weird vibes from the arrangement of bowls and everything. It’s so non-korean and yet the food seems korean. like metal spoons for the sauces??
anyway, the left one is marinated onion or smth like that. Im assuming it was soy-based but fairly sweet and savory? its for dipping the grilled meat. the one on the right just looks like a salad to me.
Hi! For the onion one, it’s 양파절임 🙂 I found one recipe on Youtube, spoken in Korean tho

And the salad…I think the recipe of salads will be quite different between restaurants so I’m not sure about its ingredients.

No hate to OP as this sub is generally kind about providing explanations for questions like this, but I see posts like this a lot and I always wonder why does no one just ask one of the servers or ajummas what it is when they are at the restaurant? I’m sure they would happily tell you
