With this sub I lost 20 lbs since about May. Ive been using the lose it app and tracking this sub for about 4 weeks consistently now and I wanted to point out a really positive change for my personal al mindset.

I have been losing weight since mid May but I noticed that I was cranky and hangry and being a bitch and I couldn’t hang with that and realized I probably wasn’t getting enough of what I needed. The lose it app is so easy to track macros with so I switched to this and found out my TDEE – for me I’m not that tall (5’6) and sedentary (woo wfh!) and really have no plans on working out until my body is easier for me to move so I have to keep my daily calorie range 1200-1350 for my weight loss goals (I do have a dr helping and monitoring – you should too if accessible!)

What I noticed with tracking my macros is that I feel more full, satiated longer and I’m not a raging see ya next Tuesday! How neat for me and all the ones I love! It’s really approachable when you feel like this, and like you have enough energy to tackle your day but not overdo it so you’re so full and lethargic.

I dare to say 1200 is not that hard now. Not to say every treat isn’t wildly tempting but since my approach to my weight loss is now a healthy one it’s a lot easier to moderate.

This is the polar opposite of my weight loss journey years ago when I lost ~70 lbs and became a hot yoga instructor (temp, not calling myself hot)- that was all for vanity and I did a lot of damage to my body that I have to deal with daily now. This sub showed me all the fun things you can do on a smaller diet, I’m thankful for you and I just wanted to share it, in case it resonates for someone else. I kept that weight off for 7 years, I looked awesome, but I was miserable.

Take care of yourselves, no weight loss is worth your mental health. And thank you for all the inspiration in getting my diet balanced.

First pic: my daily salad. It’s around 250-350 calories (I like cheese and avocado really boost that fat kcal count! lmfao)
and I love it

2nd pic: taken yesterday! Not really confident to show body pics but my face shows a big difference from before

3rd pic: taken in April!

I just realized it’s more like 2.5 months and can’t edit my title – oops!

You should really consider exercising. Even completely ignoring weight loss, there are so many benefits to your health and mood that you deserve now, not whenever you happen to decide you’ve lost enough weight for it
