What are these? Mutated jalapenos? I can’t figure out what they are. In told poblano but they look nothing like what google shows me for poblano

Might be Mammoth Jalepenos. They’re a larger variety.

Were they grown in a container? Container size seems to directly correlate to fruit size and shape. I have a jalapeno plant in a bonsai pot and it’s producing little nubs of peppers instead of long slender ones.

Take a bite. You’ll know if it is a jalapeño or a poblano.

I’m growing both jalapeños and poblanos this year and honestly it looks halfway in between – a bit too fat to be a jalapeño, but too smooth and light green to be a poblano. But I agree, take a bite and you’ll know lol

My money’s on them just being fat jalapeños!

Poblano. The plant is just growing them smaller with thicker flesh for some reason or it’s some small variety.

They look more like stunted poblanos to me

Large variety of Jalepenos I would say.
