I found these at my local supermarket chain, Giant Food Stores. They have a wide range of cool, low-calorie products. And this cheese is one of them!

Obviously it has some additives but much less than name-brand Kraft does and it tastes sharp and has a great texture. It also melts well so it can be used for other purposes (other than just for delicious sandwiches).

Giant is owned by Ahold Delhaize brands, so if your local store is a subsidiary (Stop & Shop and Food Lion are the two major ones) of theirs, you may have luck finding them there, too!

  1. Wish they had those stores in my state. I can’t even find the kraft anywhere and the Great Value version is terrible. I like the Velveeta singles for 35cal though!

Definitely going to look for these! I get the Kraft 50 calorie ones for when I want a grilled cheese or a cheeseburger. Would be awesome to 1/2 the calories!!

  3. Giant also has 90 calorie light English muffins that are excellent toasted with avocado and everything seasoning or chili flakes

The fact that this doesn’t actually say American cheese anywhere on the package but instead says “cheese product” gives me the ick… but also would not stop me from eating it 😅

So jealous I cannot find a single fat free cheese in my area and doctor has told me to limit the saturated fat in my diet.
