I added cheese to my eggs and condensed milk to my pancakes.

I cooked this in the least amount of butter I could without burning the pan lol.

I have medication that needs to be taken with vitamin C so I make my own orange, apple lemon,
and pineapple juice. I don’t add any sugar.

I’m pretty good at volume eating when I try. My dinner is going to be a very large volume/low calorie meal.

It’s not too much if it fits your goals and your plan for the day.

It really depends on what the rest of your day looks like, and how you feel during the day. I personally wouldn’t do it, because I would get hungry quickly after something like this, and I would be stressed about fitting the rest of my day in less than half my calories.

I usually start out light in the morning (protein skyr yoghurt + strawberries + 10g of dark chocolate) and have a bigger lunch to get me through the day!

It depends how you dispense the rest of your calories for the day.

I think that’s too little food for the amount of calories. You can get protein pancakes from Kodiak cake for less calories and use Pam spray instead of butter . Omitting the condensed milk would help too.

Also you could add berries on top and do eggs with cottage cheese or salsa. I usually do pancakes, eggs, sourdough with avocado and salsa on top and sometimes with turkey bacon for less calories (550)

I’d say so but who cares if you’re still staying in your limit.

If it was more food I would say no, but that’s hardly anything for 700 calories 😔
They make sugar free Emercenc-E you can try taking. Yes even though you don’t add sugar to your juice it is still pretty high sugar.
Use protein powder in your pancakes or buy the Kodiak brand

If you’re on 1200 then you have 500 left for the day. You’re allowed to divide them up however you like. My breakfast is 1 egg, 1 toast just so I can do this with dinner, lol.

It’s really up to you and situation dependent. That’s a small amount of food, as others have said. If you’re eating it every day, I would recommend making some swaps for lower calorie items. Every once in a while, it’s fine. I just highly doubt you could stay within your limit (safely) if you were to eat like this daily.

I would just do the pancakes on Sunday.

  9. depression---cherry

Probably not every day since it’s iver half your daily calories but damn if this doesn’t look amazing.

You could prob skip lunch or do something light and have something really filling like a veggie soup w a protein for dinner.

  10. Butterfly_Hollywood

Is 200 calories too little for dinner

  11. bnny_ears

I occasionally do this on Sunday with waffles. You have my full support, OP

Sometimes it’s totally worth it. Canned green beans and black vinegar for lunch and dinner it is.

everyone is saying it just depends on what works for you which i agree with; but ill give my pov as someone who does the same! breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and i don’t care for lunch. however, i cannot skip dinner or go light on it at all. so ill usually go 600-700 in the morning, be able to go pretty much the rest of the afternoon (at most, a small snack) and then have a nice dinner that fits in with my remaining calories. 400-400-400 just doesn’t work for me 😭 same with skipping breakfast

  13. I prefer supper to be my biggest calorie intake meal, but 700 would typically be that earmark. You’ll just be eating your lighter meals for the remainder of the day.

  14. MacroAlgalFagasaurus

Yes. It’s too much IMO. I intermittent fast and just have coffee for breakfast until 11.

  15. scarlet_moth

for me it would be way too much but to each their own. I don’t like going above 300-350 for breakfast.

  16. sjc268522

For me, yes. Take the OJ out and cut way back on the syrup and that would take a bunch of calories right out.

  17. DasHexxchen

To me this is not volume eating. It would be kind of a bad deal for me.

(Let me get out of the way, that if you feel satiated from this and your calories fit it’s perfect as is. You don’t have to adhere to norms, but listen to your body.)

But if we try to improve this breakfast:
    – smoothie instead of juice to keep the fiber
    – orange, filleted with some cinnamon for the meds
    – bake the pancake in the oven for no butter at all
    – fruit based pancakes (I do 1 ripe banana with 50g of flour and some milk, but you can also mash up sweet potato with egg or use apple in the mix.)
    – Or protein based pancakes. There are ready mixes or you can substitute part of the flour with protein powder.
    – eggs can also be baked into an omelette in the oven. Or as egg cups, which can be prepared and frozen and in which the cheese can be better distributed.

  18. Pattystr

No, but your syrup is hitting your eggs.

  19. Jojobeans10

No but it’s criminal to have pancake syrup on your eggs with peppers.

  20. MissMabeliita

Hmm, is not that it’s too much but is just that, unless you go to bed at 5:00pm it’s going to be a long loooonnnnggg day and you’ll get hungry with not much room for much else

  21. takeawayballs

depends on u, i think that’s far too little food for that amount of calories, and the macros are bad imo, so i personally wouldn’t be satisfied but it doesn’t matter as long as u can stick to it!
