Hello Everyone!
Here is a very full-flavored and easy meal for you to try. My family loves cajun food even though we live in California (I’m from Louisiana, so I absolutely love and remember the amazing flavors of the South)

Cajun Shrimp Alfredo
(These are measurements that I use. Please modify it as you see fit 🙂

Time-saving tip: Boil your water and cook your pasta while you cook the shrimp and the alfredo sauce.

Oil your pan
Sear 2 lbs of shrimp on both sides (a couple minutes on each side) in your pan on medium/high heat. Remember to work quickly
Sprinkle blackened seasoning on the shrimp (the more you sprinkle, the spicier it will be) I got my seasoning from Sprouts.
Remove the shrimp and some juices. Set aside and keep warm.

Keep your pan warm and add a full stick of butter. I recommend using the same pan
While the butter is melting, begin to scrape the pan.
Add your block of cream cheese.
Add spices: 1/2 TSP of garlic powder, 1/2 TSP of onion powder, dash of cayenne pepper, 1 Tablespoon of italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika, salt to taste
Continue to stir all ingredients together
Begin to add your creams: 1/3 cup of milk or heavy cream, and 1/3 cup of buttermilk
Optional: 1/3 cup of white wine (any kind)
Stir it really well and let simmer.

Place cooked pasta into the pan with the alfredo and mix.
Serve with warm shrimp and Enjoy! Fresh parsley is a great garnish for this dish 💕
