    How is the very outside of the shell? Sufficiently crunchy? When you bite it is it cake-y?

    The texture is actually not crispy at all except fresh out the oven. While it cools it softens up slightly and has a sticky crumble*but stays intact. The inside is kinda like a dense cake (poundcake) but with almond flour
