Hello fellow Nova Scotia Gardener. Love this time of year when the garlic is ready for use in the kitchen my garlic were huge this year. I'll have to try this recipe I have a bunch of Zucs too.
You have to try this simple recipe. So it;s a stir fry and all you need is dark soy sauce light soy sauce and honey. You cook your stir fry then use a bit more light sauce than dark with squeeze of honey.. Use enough so there is a bit of sauce for the rice to absorb. I also add basil and garlic but that's optional. That's it, enjoy.
hence forth the tomato will always be known as 'the onion" lol………..
I have them coming at speeds faster than I can eat them in Middle Sackville, so going to give this one a try. What knife are you using, I really like it and can you get them in the HRM.
Thank you for the great recipe
This is my kind of cooking and with my zucchini just coming on, I'll use this recipe often. I love one pan cooking and would even use this as my main dish (maybe add a little sausage as you suggested). Thanks so much for yet another great video.
Wow! You made me hungry😊😊😊😊😊 I look forward to trying this healthy tasty dish!!!! Thank you!!!!!😊😊😊😊
I might plant zucchini next year! Great video and funny too, TOMATOE 😂
Just surprised my wife, wow was that ever good, followed your recipe step by step. Took me 15 minutes to make. Strained the water twice. Only hick up: I did not make enough. Thank you so much for sharing
That's my kind of dish. I'll have to give that a try. I have all the ingredients in the garden right now.
This looks delicious, and I am having an incredible squash year! Perfect timing for me, thank you Greg. Do you have some cucumber videos for other than pickles? I've got a lot of pickles made, but would like to use my insane number of cukes for other things…thanks again! I hope you did alright with Beryl and the recent rain, too.
i cant wait for zuccs to come back into season here in Aus!
This is how actual gardeners cook. We eat ehag we have and we keep it simple fresh and flavourful. A great base recipe that can be played with! I highly recommend trying out a simple "scarpaccia" recipe…another great way to use up lots of zucchini but not in a cake…its loaded wkth zuccs and I add nutritional yeast to make it "cheesy" and fresh herbs whatever is on hand but basil is tops. There are a few variations online I watch a few recipe videos then xompile what I've learned from each. I bet your family would love it. My husband gobbles it up either on its own or topped like avocado toast or with pesto and sprouts. Worth trying!
