That’s amount of char I usually prefer.

  2. MustangSodaPop

As long as its moist, this level of char is perfect.

Close but not over the edge. Got a marinade you like?

I love it as long as it’s nice and moist on the inside.

If it’s too much char for someone, you can just scrape some off with a butter knife.
edit: looks good, I’d eat it fo sho.

Impossible to reach a conclusion without a pic of the inside

I mean, does it really matter? What matters is if they taste delicious to you or not. To me I think those would be de-liss-eous!

  11. Fuck me, but that looks good. Dad used to make chicken like that, and my mouth waters on seeing that pic

    Just charred. Extra flavor.

A bit burnt but I’d chomp them – they look moist and meaty

Looks like meat’s back on the menu, boys

This is what takes you to flavour town

They look fine. Thighs are very forgiving.

Char if they are still juicy. Burnt if they are dry.

Looks a little charred, but I’d still be happy with those. I’d bring the grill temp down a little next time.

Do they taste good? Why do you need the internet to tell you if your chicken tastes good?

It’s hard to mess up thighs, they look great to me!

As long as they hit 160, you can’t possible screw up thighs…

We pretty much only grill thighs, and these look perfectly spot-on to me.
