Would one of those folding grates be a good idea?

Nothing. Use what you have until you understand your grill

Load it up with charcoal and burn it clean then cool it down clean it out and start cooking

What a snag!!! Take care of it, and your grandkids will be cooking for their grandkids on it.

First and most important if being kept outside:

    Rain cover- $30.

    Charcoal chimney- $8.

    Replacement lid handle- about $25.

    Replacement damper- about $22.

Rustoleum high heat black spray paint for new, clean exterior finish- $6.

If the either grate is rusty, or if you want to upgrade to the folding one, replacement grill grates- about $40-70 for both grates.

Fun accessories: rotisserie add on, cinder blocks or “Slow n Sear” insert for direct/indirect smoking/ searing, Vortex for amazing wings!

A non bristle grill brush is a must

And I have 2 charcoal baskets that I move around where I want the heat. I know I don’t need them but I feel like they help keep the charcoal neat and packed.

Don’t go out, like me, and get a bunch of gimmicky shit that you’ll never really use. Just cook on it the way it was designed and it’ll treat you well.

Bro Webber has some accessory that is an electric rotisserie from Amazon. As my neighbor showed me

Pork or beef. Occasionally chicken. Corn is cool too

Weber vortex is great for direct sears or indirect cooking.

A chimney to start the charcoal, a grill brush to clean the grates when they are hot, and welding gloves to make it all more comfortable.

  11. Normally I’d check with Hank Hill but………
