I grew thai chillies, habanero, and scotch bonnet, as well as jalapeños, poblanos and shishitos. I grew these in the pic not for eating fresh, but to add to recipes for spice and flavor. However, I have to taste everything I grow. I just have to. I learned these are way past my spice limit 🤣. I'm still proud of my little harvest and wanted to show you all.

I live by the same rule. What recipes are you using your peppers in?

Congrats on your harvest! I ate the better part of my first Trinidad Scorpion and just stood there frozen for a moment, then kept saying “water.” I know it’s not the right solution, it only made it worse, but I was not entirely in my right mind. The endorphin rush after that was intense, though. I ended up eating the rest.

I made this mistake with a Jigsaw pepper today because I was dying to know what they taste like. The seed packet said the spice level was comparable to jalapeno. That was a severe understatement. I don’t think I’m ever going to try a raw hot pepper again lol Your peppers look great!

  4. They’re past your limits right now… Keep eating them and in no time you’ll barely have any heat and just the nice fruity flavors.
