    Finished in the smoker quick, about 70 minutes at 225 and then a quick 3ish minutes, fat cap down, on the grill at 500. SPG only and it tasted amazing!!!

  3. I love Picanaha. I’ve been starting to fall in love with cheaper cuts again. Picanaha, flat iron, and flank steak are now part of my normal rotation. Don’t get me wrong I love ribeye, but if I’m meal prepping, ribeye and NY doesn’t reheat the same and just seems wasteful/disrespectful. Picanaha, flatiron, and flank reheat a lot better while still staying tender.

    Charlotte, flat iron $15/lb. Picanha isn’t to bad @ $13/lb. Pork is cheap here. Pork shoulder/butt is $.99/lb right now.
