Just an FYI if they forget your the sour cream for this and you happen to have plain Greek yogurt, it works just as well. (Got my $3.80 credit.)

We’ve had other recipes use mayonnaise on the chicken for the breading to stick to, so that would also work in a pinch.

Typical hellofresh. They use temp employees for most their unskilled labor. As a former manager for them I can tell you they cut corners anywhere they can. For example when you get your carrots and they are not bagged “which is screwing the customer” that means they fell behind and cut that step from their SoW.
