I’m excited for my first meal prep, as I’m trying to lose weight!
This is:
– 130g sweet and sour chicken breast
– 100g basmatic rice
– 45g carrots in vinegar
For a total of 355 calories each.
These are small portions (I was running out of ingredients lol) but I could easily add another 100grams of chicken, and another 100grams of carrots to make this a lot more filling and have it less than 600calories per serving.
Very excited for my journey!

I recommend adding some liquid or putting the lids on to seal in some steam for when you reheat. Keeps the rice from being dry.
Looks delicious! Yeah like you said some more protein and veggies would make this go a lot farther. Typically your carb should be a smaller percentage of your meal, about the size of the palm of your hand. But you’ve got the basic building blocks of a well balanced meal! If you need recipes, dm me. I lost 120 lbs last year, and a huge part of that was meal planning
This looks great. I try to do a 3 day meal prep on Sunday to keep things fresh, and will cook another small batch mid-week. That’s just me.

One thing you might like is using brown rice instead of white rice. For me it’s more filling and healthier

Also, mad respect for starting your journey 👏 I started doing meal prep to lose weight as well and has helped me lose about 20kg over the course of the past year and a bit.
