Looks like thai hots to me. When they’re left on the plant to mature for a long time they reach that size and color. How long have they been maturing? It’s an important factor in determination.

Those are 100% Super Chili peppers. They are very common in generic pepper seed packs at places like garden centres. They are very thin walled but they pack a decent punch of heat. Best you can do with these is either thin slices for long simmered sauces or dehydrated and ground up for a seasoning mix. You wouldn’t get a lot of power because of the very thin walls, but added to a seasoning blend with other herbs and spices it will add enough heat kick and that floral earthy taste that these have. They aren’t very sweet at all, so a mix with onion powder or dehydrated sweet onion would be a good way to complement this pepper.

Also, feed this plant with fertilizer and Epsom salts every few weeks and it will absolutely explode with pepper growth. These plants produce A LOT of peppers. That sort of makes up for the thin walls they have.

Try a ripe one right off the plant. It’ll give you more of a heat punch than you’ll be expecting 😎

I have those in my raised planter. They’re called super chillies, Capsicum annuum, which is a hybrid chilli. Versatile chilli. Used them to make homemade salsa. Tastes great!

  5. They look like my ornamental Thai peppers or maybe tobasco
