First time growing them and they’re finally ripening but have no idea what to make other than salsa. Anybody have good recipes or maybe to pickle them

Slow cooked Beef quesadillas with sharp cheddar & red jalapeno is next level good bro..

If all else fails, they’re delicious by themselves and the heat is probably tolerable if you’ve been eating hot peppers for more than a year or two.

Pickled is good, salsas are great. I like to pickle and then chop fine as a sandwich spread kinda like cherry peppers.

Sambal oelek, Sriracha, harissa, Thai sweet chili sauce. All of those recipes call for red jalapeños!

Mash them with a mortar and incorporate them into sauces. Ex spicy mayo, spicy tomato sauce…

Make a cherry jam and add those to it, it’s a wonderful sweet heat

    dehydrated powder in a shaker.

I use several different ones and the red jalps are real good to sprinkle on eggs and pasta and etc.

Slice them and put them in your favorite sandwich.

Maybe a homemade sriracha-inspired sauce. If you want, you could try fermenting them and making real sriracha, but I think you could get a similar taste by adding kimchi.

I don’t know a lot about how to make shelf-stable sauces, but be careful because there is stuff that could go wrong and potentially cause illness or just ruin the sauce.

I would go for more of a fresh sauce, meant to be refrigerated and used within days. My way would be to start with a basic recipe that doesn’t really have any unique flavors, and then add the kimchi.

Whatever you make, I’m sure it’ll be delicious!!

Split them in half, fill with cream cheese and wrap with bacon. Throw on the grill for a bit

Wow! Thanks for the suggestions! I’m gonna try and make Sriracha and salsas first but these are all great!!
