We were gifted some starters at the beginning of the summer and told they were bell peppers, but they are not lol. I dabbed one on my tongue and it seems pretty spicy.

Looks like Lemon Drop. But Mine are not that spicy. Can compare it to a ripe, red Jalapeno.

I call those a lemon drop chili. My son eats them like candy when they’re fresh. I dry them and use them as seasoning all winter. One of my favorites.

Looks lust like the pods on my Mango Drop plant, except mine are all green still. I have no idea which colors to expect when they ripen. Yours look great!

Aji. They taste a bit different from other peppers. Some people don’t like the flavor.

This is the first year I grow Lemondrop. I heard it would be spicy like an Acrata (I think it’s Goats’ Weed in the US), but it’s much more (I live in Europe and I bought the seeds from Sativa, Switzerland). I’ll keep on growing it because I love its flavour, although I prefer milder peppers (jalapeño, Italian varieties like Etna and Stromboli, etc.). Once cooked, it maintains a good flavour and loses most of its spiciness
