Kenji’s tomato sauce is so easy and delicious, I put it on everything in between stealing spoonfuls
Nom nom nom. Somehow my roommate doesn’t like it, so it’s all mine!

When I really feel like I want to make my kitchen as dirty as possible and use as many pans as possible, I’ll do this with some homemade chicken Parmesan too.

I love batch cooking this recipe and storing in my freezer! I love eating it with fresh baked bread that’s too hot to handle. So so good

I always keep one of the num10 cans of San marzanos from Costco just to make this. It’s a family favorite.

It is good by the spoonful. Dipping slutty, garlicky and buttery bread in it is best!

It’s fantastic! I make it all the time.

I always have some in the freezer. Indispensable.

Is this the 6 hour slow cooked one in the oven? If so, I recommend omitting the step where you save a reserve portion of fresh tomato sauce to add at the end. I think the richness of the slow cooked sauce is better without diluting it at the end. You can test it yourself by reserving the fresh sauce then once the slow cooked sauce is ready, mix a small bowl of 3 parts cooked sauce with 1 part fresh sauce and then do a side by side comparison.
