Lolla had a whole dedicated vegan section this year – first time I’ve ever seen that at a festival! I was working, I was provided with a meal card to use at vendors, and I ate like a king all weekend. (*that I remembered to take a pic of)
1 – burger from Elephant & Vine
2 – beyond tenders from The Stopalong
3 – veggie bao from Wow Bao
4 – spicy chick’n sandwich from BJ’s Market
5 – bean & chz burrito from Blue Agave
6 – buffalo plate from Ste. Martaen
7 – empanada from Fons
8 – pic of Plant Base, the vegan section, packed with people

Great pics! You should cross post to r/chicagovegan so we can get some love there for these vendors as well

I’ve never been to a festival, and probably never will for the music (usually only a few artists/bands are appealing), but now I’d go for the food 🤷‍♀️🤤

Damn, I almost went to the festival.

If I’d known about the food I definitely would have! I hope they repeat it next year!

Thank you Casey Niccoli for the idea behind Lollapalooza. We always knew that it was you all along. ❤️

How much did you get charged for 2 wings, a scoop of greens, and a scoop of macaroni? 😅

When I went to Lightning in a Bottle every single stand had to have at least one plant based option. I had some absolutely delicious food at that festival
