

Practice run before I throw some Snake River Farms wagyu tomahawks on the Kamado. Smoked at 225 indirect to 115-120 and then seared direct on lower grate for 90 seconds on each side. Asparagus and peppers grilled after. Don’t think I’d change anything.
Except I tried the Looft lighter and thing ran out of juice before I got the grill lit. Back to fire starting squares. Anyone have any secret tips to using the Looft? Seems like a huge waste of money. It was a gift so not too bummed on lost expense. Maybe just using it wrong.
