Iโve been watching your videos for a few months now, and I struggle since going to Ann wig more in 2018 either sticking to a cleaner diet because I have a picky daughter and partner who are meat and cooked foods lovers! Also, Iโve found it to be so oooo much work to juice and prepare living foods for three people vs one. Can you do a video on family live foods lifestyle? The volumes of food is overwhelming but I need to stick with it for my health and continue to heal anemia and GI issues Iโve had since childhood.

ok, so on the one hand, I watch and listen to Lou, and I LOVE the man, BUT… honestly, its all I can do to be able to afford all the Organics that I buy to try to love and nourish myself… but what puts me off is ALL the constant "selling the products", which by the way are not natural, they are processed and somehow goes against the grain and goes against what you guys are trying to teach us. I used to feel a bit guilty about even using a Vitamix lol, never mind spending so much money on a blender :), but I get it, I truly do, but please give recipes that are realistic for those of us that really can't afford or even don't want to do the "powders"… but I love you guys and Im grateful for the content!

A question I've wondered for years is where Lou learned about the soil being deficient in enzymes and that this is affecting our food (and us). If there are books, I'd like to read them too. Thanks!
Also a suggestion for another person to interview would be Stanley who will be 102 years old this year. I keep hearing Dr. Esselstyn telling his story briefly to help people realize it's never too late to begin eating healthy.
Stanley started doing Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's protocol for reversing and preventing heart disease at the age of 87 years. Two weeks ago the "Plant Based with Jane Esselstyn and Ann Esselstyn" youtube channel put out the video called "Dr. Esselstyn Shares Patient Stories".
(Dr. Esselstyn is 90 years by the way. People died early in his and his wife's family despite them being medical doctors. He did research and came up with his protocol and did a study which halted and in varying degrees, reversed heart disease. And obviously worked for him and his wife (age 89 I believe).)

How is his blood sugar, VISCERAL fat, CAC calcium scan? Does he take statins? It's so easy to get a Walmart glucose meter and strips. And it's also easy to get a continuous glucose meter (CGM) if you are willing to pay for it… to figure out in real-time which foods increase the blood glucose. How is your metabolic health? It's good to have occassional animal products: butter (no seed oils), egg yolks, liver, sardines/seafood, etc (animal foods are very bioavailable).
Juicing removes fiber. Fiber binds to fructose, and removes some or most of the fructose. Without the fiber you are having sugar/fructose water. That is really all fiber is good for – pulling out some of your fructose if you have a lot. Magnesium is the what helps you poop. Fiber can bind to nutrients also: So I guess you either have too much sugar or less nutrients with a plant based diet. Less nutrients could mean starvation. But too much sugar/carbs could lead to visceral fat (heart disease or diabetes type 2 – poor metabolic health).
Also it's good to know about osalates or anti-nutrients that are found in plants. You have to cook or ferment some plants to decrease the anti-nutrients. https://www.nutritionwithjudy.com/the-darkside-of-plants-anti-nutrients Symptoms from anti-nutrients can be gut pain, skin problems, etc.
